CONCEPT

DOTTO began with a simple belief: clothing should move the way a woman moves — not the other way around.

Every piece starts in nature, before it starts on paper. The color of a fig leaf. The curve of a shoreline. The way olive branches bend but never break. We take these shapes and let them become fabric, cut by hand, worn by women who don't want to be poured into a mold — they want to be seen exactly as they are.

This is not fast fashion. It's slow, human, and a little imperfect — the way anything made with real hands always is. Every DOTTO piece carries a trace of the woman who made it, and room for the woman who wears it.

CRAFT

Every DOTTO color has a coastline behind it. The turquoise of the Turkish Aegean, still and glass-like at six in the morning. The faded terracotta of a French Riviera villa, sun-bleached after a hundred summers. The gold a Tuscan hillside turns for twenty minutes at dusk, right before the light gives up for the day.

We don't design from a mood board. We design from a place — then we hand it to the women who've spent their lives turning thread into something that remembers where it came from. Every stitch is placed by hand, in small batches, by artisans who've done this since before we were born. Nothing here is rushed, and nothing here is identical. A small imperfection is not a flaw — it's proof a person, not a machine, made this for you.

This is why a DOTTO piece never looks quite like a photograph of itself. It looks like the coast it was born on.
